I love the France Pavilion in EPCOT as much as anyone else, but sometimes, people can make it a little…unpleasant.

France is arguably the most popular pavilion in the World Showcase with some of the best food, a very busy ride, and just some lovely vibes overall. But it can get crowded and a little bit hectic throughout the day, especially due to some “hacks” that fans have learned over the years. And I’m here to say…some of these are getting out of control!

Over the last several years, EPCOT has undergone a massive transformation. From the transformation of rides to a brand new lounge, the park is almost unrecognizable to those who haven’t visited in a decade. As these changes come, we come up with new hacks to help you tackle the parks, but we have to say these latest EPCOT hacks are getting out of control.
In recent years, the EPCOT International Gateway entrance has experienced a surge in usage, thanks to the introduction of the Skyliner, which has led many to discover and take advantage of this secondary entrance located near the World Showcase’s France Pavilion.

I’ve been visiting EPCOT for 30 years, and for the vast majority of that time, the International Gateway between the France and United Kingdom pavilions in World Showcase has been available to EPCOT guests. First opened in the early 1990s, the secondary entrance was initially meant for guests staying in the EPCOT Resort Area (Yacht & Beach Clubs, Swan & Dolphin, and later the Boardwalk) as well as the then MGM-Studios theme park, each of which is linked to the Gateway via walking paths and Friendship boats. As mentioned above, use of the entrance increased drastically with the opening of the Skyliner gondola system in 2019.
EPCOT’s World Showcase is full of unique food, drinks, and experiences — but some of the “hacks” Disney adults swear by have officially crossed into over-the-top territory.
