We can’t believe we’re only a few months away from the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom! It feels like only yesterday the old attraction closed to make way for the NEW version, right?

We don’t have a specific opening date quite yet, but we do know that the ride is set to open in the summer of 2024, and we’ve been keeping a close eye on all the latest construction updates. Well, good news! There’s a HUGE update over in Magic Kingdom you HAVE to see!
When we walked by the construction recently, we noticed that not only was there water in the ride track (which we’ve seen before), but there were new signs up that had a very exciting message.
What does that say?
Yes, this sign confirms that ride testing is officially happening NOW! The sign also shows the opening timeline to remind people that the ride is not open to the public yet.
Yay!!
But, you may be wondering, why did Disney need a sign? Well, we have a feeling that Magic Kingdom visitors may see some PEOPLE in those log boats, which might raise some questions about whether or not the ride is ready. We’re just speculating here, but keep in mind that Disney has been ride-testing those logs since February, yet the signs are brand-new. Look out for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure passengers during your next visit!
