NEW Souvenirs Revealed For Disney’s Newest Cruise Destination

We are getting closer to the opening of Disney’s newest cruise destination, and we just got a fun announcement from Disney Cruise Line!

We have loved getting a sneak peek at the new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and today we are getting a peek at the NEW merchandise coming to the island!

Disney’s newest cruise destination is located on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. It is called Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and will be opening in the summer of 2024 for select sailings.

Disney Parks Blog posted a first look at some of the Bahamian-inspired merchandise that will be debuting when the island officially opens this summer! We think the designs are fabulous and we can’t wait to share them with you. We are starting off with this spirit jersey, which is a part of the Junkanoo-Inspired Collection.

This collection is inspired by the sights and sounds of Junkanoo, which is a Bahamian tradition with lots of colorful parades. You will these bright hues and festive patterns on the spirit jersey, as well as a Loungefly backpack and ear headband. We think this pattern is so much fun and we adore that it is based on a longstanding Bahamian tradition.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are also getting in on the Bahamian fun and will be available in brand new looks. Their outfits include a Bahamian twist on their iconic looks with lots of colorful elements. Mickey even has a conch shell pattern on his shorts, how fun!

And of course, EARS! These are giving us serious island vibes and we love them. Theodore Elyett, an acclaimed Bahamian fashion designer, created these fabulous ears. He has developed a full clothing line, including both men’s and women’s apparel that will also be available on the island.

Disney’s newest island destination is opening this summer, and we are getting more excited by the day. We love that Disney Cruise Line is partnering with local artists to design the island architecture, décor, AND merchandise. This new merchandise is looking good and giving us lots of relaxing, island vibes!
