It’s finally here!
Tonight is the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom and we’re here seeing EVERYTHING there is to experience so you know exactly what to expect when you experience this after-hours event. There’s tons of entertainment to explore, the iconic Boo To You Parade to watch, but we can’t forget about one of the biggest draws of the event — the candy!
All around Magic Kingdom during the event, you’ll find candy spots where you can travel through the line (as many times as you’d like!) to get candy from Cast Members! Each one will have a specific marker to ensure you don’t miss it (some of them are indoors)!
This year, there are 14 candy stations by our count, and you can see them all marked as TRICK-OR-TREAT LOCATIONS on your party map that you can pick up when you get your wristband. While you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4PM, these treat stations won’t become available until 7PM, when the party officially starts!
While most of these stations hand out fun-size candy, the very first station, right when you’re getting your wristbands and entering the party, is a mid-size (not quite full-size, not quite mini) bag of Peanut Butter M&Ms.
There’s absolutely no order you need to go in while getting candy, and you can stop by the same one more than once.
However, the complimentary bags you’re given at the party are not very large and are just barely enough to get candy at each station once, so if you’re planning to take full advantage of this perk and visit multiple times, we suggest bringing your own bag (which is allowed, within reason, of course).
There’s so much to experience at this party, it can feel extremely overwhelming, but that’s why we’re here tonight to tell you about every single thing. We’re reviewing all the snacks, so you know which ones are the best to eat, checking out all the entertainment and ride overlays, and everything in between, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB!
