A Popular Disney Springs Snack Spot Is Temporarily CLOSED

There are SO many great places to grab a snack when you’re visiting Disney Springs.

There’s the ever-popular Gideon’s Bakehouse, the delicious Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, and of course, the incredibly inventive Salt & Straw. If you want Dole Whip, you could hit Swirls on the Water, or if you’re in the mood for cookies without the wait, the Cookie Bar at Summer House on the Lake is a great option. But right now, one Disney Springs snack spot is temporarily closed!

According to a post on their Instagram account, Vivoli il Gelato is currently temporarily closed for renovations. The shop hasn’t shared a reopening date.

In the meantime, you can still order some of their fun gelato offerings at two of their pop-up carts. One will be located outside of the store in The Landing area of Disney Springs, while the other is permanently stationed between the LEGO store and World of Disney in The Marketplace.

Vivoli il Gelato is known for its wide variety of gelato flavors, as well as other treats like sorbetto, gelato waffles, bombalatos, floats, shakes, and even some alcoholic options. Their menu is pretty extensive, so it’s likely they won’t have everything available at the pop-up carts around Disney Springs.

And if you’re really craving some gelato, there’s also a gelato cart in Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as a gelato stand in the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT. So many ways to grab a sweet treat!

At the time of publishing, the My Disney Experience app still shows hours for Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs, so it may not be a good indication of whether or not the store is open. We’ll make sure to keep a close eye on it and let you know when it returns to business.
