Whatever you do, do NOT underestimate the food at Morimoto Asia — this place has some GREAT things to eat! Morimoto Asia is Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s first Pan-Asian restaurant focusing on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. We’ve dined here several times, and we have never been disappointed.

If you’re looking for an excuse to visit this spot, you’re in luck! Morimoto Asia is hosting a special Ramen Rumble event AND celebrating the Lunar New Year this January. Of course, this means there will be exclusive new snacks and drinks to enjoy, like a Snake Eyes cocktail and Crispy Bossam-style Pork Belly.
A popular Disney Springs tradition is BACK for 2025! Morimoto Asia is hosting the 7th Ramen Rumble, which will happen on Monday, January 27th. This isn’t just any old foodie event. It’s a culinary competition that puts five of Central Florida’s best chefs in a head-to-head competition! Each chef will present a unique style of ramen, each made with creative toppings and textures for visitors to try and vote on.

This year’s lineup includes notable chefs like Chef Nikk Burton of The Monroe, Chef David Tsan of Norigami, Chef Tatsuki Takayama of WA Ramen, Chef Eliot Hillis of Red Panda Noodle, and Chef Jamie Riccardo Martinez of Tutto Italia. Oh, and if you were wondering, YES, there is a prize. The winner gets the championship title of “Ramen Royalty of Central Florida,” plus bragging rights and an epic “Broth Belt” trophy.

Tickets are available online now! You can get a general admission ticket for $55–$95 per person or a Private Booth ticket for $600. There are two seatings — one at 5:30 PM and one at 8 PM.

But wait! There’s ANOTHER event you can enjoy this January! Morimoto Asia is celebrating Lunar New Year with some NEW limited-time dishes and even a limited-time cocktail.

In honor of the Lunar New Year, we’re celebrating the Year of the Snake! Morimoto Asia will serve a Snake Eyes cocktail that includes Ojo de Tigre mezcal, banana liqueur, coconut, lime juice, and a half salt rim.

If you’re looking for a new meal to try this January, you can order the tempura softshell crab appetizer or the crispy Bossam-style pork belly entrée. These sound AMAZING!

Each of these new menu items will be available between January 20th and February 9th, 2025. Make sure to stop by and give these things a try! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
