Halloween may feel far away, but the truth is that Universal Orlando will start celebrating the spooky season in just two months!
This year, Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights from August 29th through November 2nd, but the closer you get to Halloween, the more expensive your ticket will be. If you want to experience all the scares without breaking the bank, these are the cheapest dates to go this year!
Tickets this year start at a base price of $82.99 per person, and that’s with no extra early entry, express pass, VIP tour, etc. This is the ticket that will get you in for the event; any other extras will be at another cost.
The cheapest dates to go this year are:
- Wednesday, September 3rd
- Thursday, September 4th
- Sunday, September 7th
- Wednesday, September 1oth
- Thursday, September 11th
- Sunday, September 14th
- Tuesday, September 16th
- Wednesday, September 17th
- Wednesday, September 24th
- Thursday, September 25th
- Wednesday, October 1st
Yes, that does mean if you want to save the most money, you’ll need to go on weekdays during most people’s work weeks, or on Sundays, which are also nights you may have to get up early the next morning. At the beginning of the event on Fridays in September, most tickets only go up $10-13, so that additional cost may be worth it to pay if you want to sleep in on Saturday.
Staying the whole time is definitely the best way to get the most of your ticket, especially if you want to experience all the haunted houses — some of those have VERY long lines, and it’s often hard to get through them all in one night if you don’t have Express Pass (but it IS possible!).
