Disney Visa Cardmember perks have changed in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Previously, Cardmembers were able to access an exclusive meet-and-greet at Star Wars Launch Bay, but that area is now closed to make way for The Walt Disney Studios.

Being a Disney Visa Cardmember comes with a variety of perks, including discounts at dining locations and special offers on Disney vacations. In addition to those perks, cardmembers can also take advantage of photo opportunities. Cardmembers can find a photo opportunity at the Disney Visa Photo Spot located at EPCOT, next to Journey Into Imagination with Figment. And now, there are two new photo opportunities in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

The first photo opportunity will be at the Olaf Character Experience. You can stop by to visit Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight in Echo Lake with free photo downloads from 9 AM to 12 PM daily. Just show your Disney Visa Card for entry into the meet and greet. When we stopped by yesterday (the first day of the new perk), the Cast Member out front did not know the details about the perk, though. Hopefully, over the next few days, all of the Cast Members at Celebrity Spotlight will be trained on the new photo opportunity! We know that yesterday was the first day of the perk, so information was likely still being distributed to Cast Members.

The second photo opportunity is a Star Wars photo opportunity. You can find this photo opportunity at the entrance of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when you are coming in from Toy Story Land. Look for the PhotoPass Cast Member in that area from 9 AM to 5 PM daily and you will be able to get a complimentary photo that is enhanced with a Holocron Darth Vader projection.

We are excited to see some new photo opportunities replace the meet and greet at Star Wars Launch Bay! Animation Courtyard is currently being transformed into The Walt Disney Studios, which is expected to open in 2026. This new area will feature The Magic of Disney Animation where you’ll be able to interact and explore this fun take on the Disney Animation headquarters, including the different studio departments. There will also be a Drawn to Wonderland Playground and the Disney Jr. Play and Dance show will be getting a makeover! Walt Disney Presents and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will be remaining in the area too.
