Happily Ever After may be one of the most ICONIC nighttime shows in all of Disney World. This fireworks show is popular — and for good reason.
However, because of its popularity, it can be hard to snag a good spot to view the fireworks. Disney World has thought of that, though…if you want a guaranteed great fireworks viewing spot, you can book a special dessert party (with all-you-can eat desserts and other snacks and drinks). Well, that dessert party just got even better because NEW treats will be added soon.
Disney just announced that new treats themed to Magic Kingdom’s lands will be coming to the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party on October 8th. These treats include the Star Command Mousse Cup representing Tomorrowland with chocolate cookie crumbs, white chocolate mousse, green apple gelée, whipped cream, red crispy pearls, and a Star Command chocolate piece.
Representing Fantasyland, you’ve got the Under the Sea Cupcake made with vanilla cake soaked in tres leches with coconut and topped with whipped cream, red sprinkles, and sugar shells. For Adventureland, you’ve got the DOLE Whip Pineapple Mousse Cup with pineapple gelée and panna cotta with flavors of DOLE Whip Pineapple. Frontierland is represented by the Country Bear Cheesecake, which is a chocolate tart filled with whipped cheesecake, apple pie filling, cinnamon streusel, whipped cream, and a chocolate piece.
Also new is the Mickey-shaped Fruit Tart, made with pastry cream topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, and gold leaf in a Mickey-shaped tart shell
Also representing Frontierland is the Bayou Peach Cobbler made with cinnamon panna cotta, peach cobbler, cinnamon streusel, and a chocolate piece.
If you’re interested in a fireworks dessert party, you have several choices: there are options for parties before and after the fireworks, plus two different views (and in my opinion, the best view is the cheaper option, which is the Plaza Garden viewing. Tickets range from $119 to $129 for adults and $75 for children ages three through nine. You can book a reservation for the dessert party of your choice on the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app.
