Disney just dropped an awesome sneak peek at what will be coming for the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!

The marathon weekend will take place from January 7th to January 11th, 2026. The theme for the marathon next year is “What’s Your Story?” We can’t wait for the event to kick off in 2026, and we got even more excited when Disney dropped a FIRST LOOK at the medals!

The enchanting medals for the finishers of runDisney’s race have officially been unveiled, and we’re starting to become obsessed with them. Whether you’re taking on the 5k, embarking on the Dopey Challenge, or wherever your runners take you, there’s a medal for each mile you conquer. So get ready, get set, and let’s go take a look at what’s waiting for you at the finish line!

Let’s start by taking a look at the 5k medal, featuring Pluto in space.

The 10k medal features Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale, Rescue Rangers! We love the nature aesthetic it gives off.

The half-marathon medal is all love! It features Donald and Daisy in a heart-shaped medal, embracing each other (although Donald seems to be stubborn as always).

You’ll show how much you’ve conquered with the marathon medal, as it features Mickey and Minnie taking on a dragon hand in hand.

There’s no better way to show you took on “Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge” than with this medal!

Of course, the “Dopey Challenge” medal would feature the adorable dwarf himself. Dopey seems to have collected his fair share of medals as well! All the medals are so adorable, we can’t decide which one we like best. One thing is for sure, we seriously can’t wait for the half-marathon weekend to get here!
