Disney World is home to so many unique experiences — many of which are hiding around the hotels.
One of our favorite underrated experiences is Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Here, attendees not only get to drink tons of sangria, but they get to learn all about the history of sangria and how to make it at home! Previously, Sangria University was held at Three Bridges Bar & Grill, but that is changing soon!
If you’re looking for something unique to do at Disney World, consider checking out Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! As part of this class, attendees can taste four sangria offerings accompanied by a light appetizer, and then make their own. It’s a really fun way to make your Disney World trip even more memorable. But, there’s an upcoming change you need to know about!
In the past, this class has been held at Three Bridges Bar & Grill, but Disney has announced that the class will be moving to Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood beginning on December 13th. Not only that, but there will now be two classes every Saturday and Sunday! That means more chances for you to check out this fun class.
When we attended Sangria University earlier this year, the Sangria Flight came with four of the restaurant’s house-made Sangrias — Cava Blackberry Macabeo (White), which tasted like tart Lemon to us, Rosé (which was the sweetest and had the most alcohol), and Garnacha (Traditional Red).
We decided to create ours with White Wine, Triple sec, POG Juice, and a piece of pineapple, and we weren’t disappointed! It was fruity and sweet, which is exactly what we loved. Make sure you check out Sangria University at Toledo starting in December!
We’ll be on the lookout for more updates from Disney World and beyond. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more.
