Okay, so you’re going to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and thanks to all the construction and the pending closure of Dinosaur, you might think you’ll run out of things to do in that park before the day is over. And, yeah, we’ll admit that the construction there can throw a wrench in your plans. Especially when your family is getting restless and your sense of direction is all thrown off thanks to the construction walls.
BUT…there will be some NEW things coming to Animal Kingdom VERY soon, so you’ll have a new reason to visit the park, especially if you love Zootopia. That’s because the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether show is debuting soon, and you’ll even have a chance to meet some of the stars of that attraction!
On November 7th, Zootopia: Better Zoogether will make its big debut in the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom. The new show will be presented in 4D “Carrot Vision” and begins when you arrive at the Tree of Life, just in time for the Zoogether Day festivities. You’ll see some familiar faces, of course, and one, Officer Clawhauser, is getting his own animatronic.
There will be plenty of entertainment from Zootopia’s residents, including polar bear ice skating, and a finale performance by Gazelle herself via a livestream watch party.
Once you’ve seen the show, make sure to take some time to meet two of its stars, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. You’ll find them near the Tree of Life on Discovery Island at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot. Now, Disney hasn’t specified EXACTLY where they’ll be just yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when we know!
So mark your calendars because Zootopia is coming to Animal Kingdom in a BIG way. Goodbye to It’s Tough to Be a Bug (many fans will NOT miss that attraction), and hello to the residents of Zootopia!
