Disney World's NEW Meet and Greet Just Opened EARLY

Quick! We’ve got a little Zootopia joke for you, Disney fans. What do you call it when you’re trying to fast-walk to Flight of Passage at rope drop in Disney World? Well, to quote Nick Wilde, “It’s called a hustle, sweetheart.” 🥁 ANYWAY! We’re here with some exciting news: the NEW Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde meet-and-greet has opened EARLY in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we were among the first in line to check it out.

This new meet-and-greet coincides with the grand opening of the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show, located in the Tree of Life theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. So, is it time to flash, flash, hundred-yard dash over to Animal Kingdom? We think YES!

You can find Nick and Judy meeting Disney fans at Discovery Island near the Tree of Life at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot. The duo is all decked out in their new looks from Zootopia 2. Cute, right?!

Gathering Spot

However, you can’t just go grab a spot in line to meet these characters. You’ll have to join a virtual line by visiting the Cast Members at the Gathering Spot. They’ll get your details and when it’s time for you to meet Nick and Judy, you’ll get a text! We spoke with one Cast Member who told us they would be using this virtual line at least today and tomorrow, and then they’ll decide if they need to continue using it after that.

Nick and Judy were SO much fun to talk to — there’s a lot to chat about now that Zootopia 2 is hitting theaters. These two are experts in investigating, so if you’ve got any cold cases, they’d probably be happy to help.

Oh, and after you get your autographs, make sure to check out the Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show next door! The all-new 4D show (as viewed through your Carrot Vision 3D Glasses!) begins when you arrive at the main stage, just in time for Zoogether Day festivities! Zoogether Day is a celebration of unity amongst the diverse biomes across the city, and will be recognized with special performances.

Joining the gang for Zoogether Day will be an audio-animatronic of none other than Benjamin Clawhauser, who is decked out in glow necklaces, bracelets, and his favorite glittery Gazelle tee shirt for the celebration! This show is super cute and adds a much-needed new attraction to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
