Winter in Florida probably looks different than most places. We might not be making snow angels and snowmen or pulling on knitted caps and scarves, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like to get into the festive mood.
Festive Cupcake
We headed to Capt. Cook’s at the Polynesian Village Resort at Disney World to try a dessert that’s perfect for a Florida Christmas!
Meet the Festive Cupcake (descriptive, huh?). This is a chocolate upcake with peppermint mousse, streusel, and chocolate decor for $6.99.
SO cute
Okay, this is pretty dang cute! The palm tree is made out of chocolate, and all of the decorations were edible. The chocolate cupcake is pretty good, and while we enjoyed it, it is not a cupcake you’ll want to go out of your way to get.
Look at that filling
There is a peppermint center with peppermint flakes, and we appreciated the crumble on top. We think kids will love this fun treat, especially if you’re already eating at Capt. Cook’s, but we wouldn’t make a stop at the Polynesian to grab this if we weren’t staying here. Again, it tasted like a good chocolate cupcake, but we’ve had more unique desserts across Disney World.
Yum!
