Orlando International Airport (MCO) is investing billions of dollars to enhance travelers’ experience. From terminal expansions and upgrades to LOTS of new dining and shopping options, we are so excited for what is to come at MCO.
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) recently approved another expansion of Phase 2 under the MCO Concession Master Plan, which will bring more than 40 new retail and dining locations to Orlando International Airport (MCO).
The plan will be completed in phases, with phased opening scheduled for summer 2026 through late 2028. At a recent meeting on December 17th, the GOAA board approved 7 more restaurants and markets. Here are the new locations that were just approved:
- Cava
- Citrus Market featuring Winery and Tasting Room powered by Brewlando
- Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
- McDonald’s
- Plum Market
- Raising Cane’s
- Velvet Taco
So far, the GOAA has approved 44 restaurants and markets under the MCO Concession Master Plan. Here is a look at all the locations approved so far for phases 1 and 2. The expansion will be a three-phased project.

The MCO Concession Master Plan is just one of the many ongoing projects at MCO. The airport is also planning to expand Terminal C, add a new rental car lobby, replace the Gate Link tram serving gates 70-129, upgrade Terminals A and B, and more.
