Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is getting some MAJOR updates to shops, characters, and more!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge continues to be one of the most immersive lands ever created in a Disney park, transporting guests straight into the middle of a galaxy far, far away. From piloting the Millennium Falcon to sipping blue milk on Batuu, every detail of the land is designed to make visitors feel like they’ve stepped into a living Star Wars story. And now, Disney has announced another notable update that will bring fresh life to one of Galaxy’s Edge’s most iconic locations.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is getting a big change. Disney has just announced that the shop will begin featuring new artifacts and curiosities inspired by props from more recent Star Wars series. Known for its mysterious, museum-like atmosphere, Dok-Ondar’s has always been a treasure trove of rare and unusual items from across the Star Wars universe, and now that collection is evolving to reflect newer stories fans have come to love.

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
As antiquities shops often do, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will display a different array of one-of-a-kind items from its past. The curiosities and artifacts in his shop certainly change with the times, and this update leans into that storytelling detail. This change also fits into broader updates happening across Galaxy’s Edge as Disney continues to refresh the land without disrupting its core experience. Rather than massive overhauls, these smaller updates help keep the land feeling fresh, but sticking to what Galaxy’s Edge’s design is.
