It’s almost spring, and that can only mean one thing at Disney World — EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival is about to begin!

Bambi topiary
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns to Disney World on March 4th, transforming the park into one of the most stunning experiences of the year. You’ll find outdoor kitchens packed with seasonal snacks, live entertainment throughout the World Showcase, and, of course, the festival’s signature character topiaries. It’s one of EPCOT’s most relaxing festivals, but also one of its sneakiest when it comes to allergies.
With that many blooming plants concentrated in one place, pollen levels inside the park can spike quickly, especially during warm, breezy afternoons. Common triggers include tree pollen, grass pollen, and mulched garden beds. Guests who don’t usually experience seasonal allergies at home may suddenly notice itchy eyes, sneezing, congestion, or headaches after a few hours outdoors in EPCOT, and Florida’s humidity tends to make symptoms linger longer.

Phineas and Ferb
Because of this, allergy medication becomes an essential park-bag item during the Flower & Garden season. Bringing a non-drowsy antihistamine, eye drops, or nasal spray can make the difference between enjoying the festival’s food booths and spending the afternoon miserable. Be sure to grab these essentials for your spring EPCOT trip!
Get this First Aid Medication Pack for your bag!
This travel medication pack includes 28 assorted medications. It includes ibuprofen, an antihistamine, sinus tablets, and more. These are easy to throw in your park bag for quick access to stop any reactions before they happen.
This Medication Organizer will make your day easier!
This medication organizer is designed for the frequent traveler. This travel pill container features multiple compartments, fitting seamlessly in pockets or travel bags, and includes a secure pill case for safe travel. This will be easy to keep medication organized in your park bags.
We love this EpiPen carrying case for your park bag!
Finally, this is for guests who need to carry an EpiPen. If you are allergic to bees, this carrying case is a great way to store your EpiPen. In the spring, the bees become very noticeable at the Disney parks. They tend to gather around food locations, especially Joffrey’s. This case is insulated and big enough to carry two pens.
