It’s almost spring, and that can only mean one thing at Disney World — EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival is about to begin!

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns to Disney World on March 4th, transforming the park into one of the most stunning experiences of the year. You’ll find outdoor kitchens packed with seasonal snacks, live entertainment throughout the World Showcase, and, of course, the festival’s signature character topiaries. It’s one of EPCOT’s most relaxing festivals, but also one of its sneakiest when it comes to allergies.
With that many blooming plants concentrated in one place, pollen levels inside the park can spike quickly, especially during warm, breezy afternoons. Common triggers include tree pollen, grass pollen, and mulched garden beds. Guests who don’t usually experience seasonal allergies at home may suddenly notice itchy eyes, sneezing, congestion, or headaches after a few hours outdoors in EPCOT, and Florida’s humidity tends to make symptoms linger longer.
