It’s not unusual for us to find something on a Disney Cruise Line ship that we can’t stop thinking about. Sometimes it’s a souvenir, other times it’s a food item, but in this case, it’s an entire dining experience.
We just got off the Disney Adventure, Disney’s newest cruise ship that happens to set sail from Singapore. We already knew this ship would be unlike any of the other Disney Cruise Line ships we’ve ever been on, but we did NOT expect this particular coffee experience to be part of that. If you’re on board, trust us when we say that you’ll experience Bacha Coffee and never be the same again.
Bacha Coffee is located on Deck 7, right near TWG Coffee, and across from Diamonds & Wishes. This company has been around since 1910, but this is the first time they’ve ever been aboard a Disney ship. The shop itself is inspired by the world of Aladdin, and not only do you have the opportunity to try an exclusive co-branded signature collection available only on the Disney Adventure, but you can also purchase coffee gift boxes and accessories to bring back home.
We stopped by just to grab a cup of coffee to go, but we were invited to sit at the bar inside since it was empty. We didn’t think much of it, but WOW, we were in for the experience of a lifetime. This was fine dining in coffee form, and it has totally changed us. There were so many little details that made this experience as elevated as it was — silver coasters, silver, spoons, glass straws, glass, engraved coffee cups, and so much more.
The prices were about double what you would normally pay, but for this experience and the quality of the coffee, we say it’s totally worth it at least once. There were TWO entire books of coffee choices available, but if you have trouble deciding, the Cast Members were so knowledgeable, easily able to give recommendations based on your favorite types of coffee and the flavors you prefer. We ended up getting two different types — a hot coffee that came in a gooseneck gold kettle, and an iced coffee with a side of Chantilly cream and liquid syrup.
We also loved that there was a vanilla grinder on the table, so you could add more flavor if you wanted. We also got coffees to go the next day, and while we expected the experience not to be as elegant, we were WRONG. We were given a little box that comes with the same accompaniment that you get on the table, and you even get to KEEP the glass straw! Now that’s a fantastic souvenir and a great coffee for one price.
We genuinely think we’ll be chasing this high for the rest of our lives; it was THAT incredible. If you’re a fan of coffee or just want an experience like no other, this is absolutely a must-visit on your cruise!
