One thing we love about the theme parks is their festivals, whether that be EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, Disneyland’s California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, Dollywood’s Flower and Food Festival, or countless others!
BUT there is one park that has an advantage over the others, and that is Dollywood! Their exclusive festival perk tops all of the others, and for good reason! It’s easy, and it could save you money, and that’s why we’re hoping EPCOT takes the hint and introduces it to their festivals!
Usually when we’re visiting an EPCOT festival, we budget out what we want to eat for the day or for the trip and put that amount on one of the Disney festival gift cards. This way you’re not overspending or having to pull out your wallet each time — simply slide the gift card around your wrist and scan it at each location, easy!
But what makes eating and drinking around festivals even easier? Dollywood has this down to a science with the Tasting Passes. Guests can purchase these either before or on the day of their visit. These cost about $44 per person, but with this pass, you can enjoy up to ANY FIVE festival food items! This means that if you play your cards right, you could save some money!
Disneyland has a similar option with their Sip and Savor Passes for the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. Available for a separate fee, these are scannable credentials that include a specific number of digital coupons. These passes can be redeemed for SELECT food or nonalcoholic beverage items at the festival marketplaces or participating dining locations during the festival.
The price varies for these passes, but for the 2026 Lunar New Year at Disneyland, these passes included six items for $49 for regular guests and $46 for Magic Key holders.
Having these in EPCOT would make festival days much easier and possibly cheaper! So, Disney World, please take a page out of Dollywood’s and Disneyland’s books and bring tasting passes to the festivals at EPCOT! Follow us at DFB for more theme park news, updates, tips, and tricks!
