We know you probably groaned a bit reading the title, considering there are already so many closures around Disney World right now, but yes, another one is being added to the list.

Disney World is currently in the midst of some pretty massive construction projects all over the resort. While some of the biggest projects are in the parks, there are numerous projects happening around the Disney World hotels as well. At some, it’s cosmetic work, making the hotel look as beautiful as can be, but at others, there are closures taking place to allow for refurbishments. If you’re heading to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, there’s a restaurant closure happening this week that you need to know about.

Turf Club Bar & Grill has been far from one of the top-rated restaurants in Disney World for a LONG time. In fact, it ranks last on a lot of our lists, and so we were excited to hear about the refurbishment, hoping Disney will finally fix what’s wrong with this currently “meh” spot. The lounge connected to the restaurant, Turf Club Lounge, has been closed for refurbishment since late April, but will be reopening on August 30th, just a day before the restaurant is scheduled to close.

However, this is your reminder that the Turf Club Bar & Grill will close its doors for refurbishment on August 31st. Currently, Disney hasn’t listed a reopening date, so it’s unclear when the refurbishment will be complete. Though, if Disney sticks with their originally announced schedule from March, the restaurant should open back up in mid-September.

It’s also important to note that from early to mid-August, the Turf Club patio has been closed as well. This means that, by the time this is all complete, the entire restaurant area will have gotten a refresh. Now, will things actually look different, and will the menu change? While we don’t know if the menus will change, we’re excited for its reopening to see what’s new!
