California has continued to put new health and safety guidelines in place to make sure that both tourists and residents are protected.

As the state issues new and strict regulations, California may also be extending one of its previous guidelines into the beginning of 2021.
While the Disneyland area is currently under a stay-at-home order, Disney continues to connect with guests near and far about keeping communities safe with health and safety measures.

However, with ICU rates remaining low, this stay-at-home order could be extended, and recently California reported the highest single-day count of new COVID-19 cases in a U.S. state. And now, Orange County has officially hit a new record-number of cases.
Although Disney World began a phased reopening with Disney Springs, Disneyland still hasn’t released a statement about when it plans to start reopening the Downtown Disney or the parks.

While there are currently no reservations available at Disneyland Resort until July 1st, Disneyland may be one small step closer to its own phased reopening plans with California’s recent announcement.
