Nestled in a quaint little Norwegian village with specialty shopping, a high seas Frozen-themed adventure, and a Stave church is the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, or “Kringla” for short.
Sweet smells from Kringla fill the air of the entire Norway pavilion in EPCOT, enticing guests to stop in for a snack with international appeal.
One of the biggest draws to Kringla is the freshly baked desserts, easily viewed in glass display cases. Popular favorites like School Bread and Lefse (traditional potato bread with butter and cinnamon sugar) are sure to please your sweet tooth. Draft Nordic beers and specialties like Viking Coffee are also served.
Seating is open-air, but under a roofed patio.

Important Info:
- Try the famous School Bread, which is a soft pastry filled with sweet vanilla cream and topped with coconut.
- The Norway Pavilion opens along with the park so guests can ride the Frozen Ever After attraction. So, Kringla Bakeri is one of the few World Showcase stops that is open for breakfast!
Famous Dishes: School Bread, Kringla Sweet Pretzel, Frozen Viking Coffee
Nosh or Not
Stop by this Norwegian spot if…
You’re just looking for pastries or dessert. Kringla Bakeri og Kafe is primarily a bakery that serves up traditional Norwegian pastries and desserts. If you’re looking for something savory or hearty, you’ll want to head elsewhere. But we recommend trying the School Bread!
You want to grab classic Nordic Beers or Viking Coffee. This is one spot where you’ll find beer from Norway and the iconic Viking Coffee (with or without alcohol).
You want a quick breakfast when you’re walking around World Showcase. Kringla is one of the few food locations in the World Showcase that opens early enough for breakfast. Consider stopping by here to try something new as you explore the World Showcase!
Skip this eatery in Norway if…
You’re looking for a hearty meal with savory options. Since Kringla is primarily a bakery with sweet treats, we don’t often suggest it for full meals aside from breakfast. Consider booking a table at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall if you want to experience savory Norwegian fare!
You want a true, sit-down meal with table service. Kringla is a walk-up bakery with a line you’ll have to wait in for service, and seating here is outside under a covered patio. It’s very casual and offers limited seating.
You don’t want to wait in line. While it does usually move quickly, you’ll likely have to wait in line to order from Kringla. There is no Mobile Order option here.
