You never know what you might find at EPCOT!
Frozen 2 is officially released today!
Don’t mind us, we’re just over here poorly belting out “Into the Unknown” for the billionth time! We saw the film last night and LOOOOVED it but one BIG QUESTION we had was how soon would it be until we saw the NEW new costumes Elsa and Anna wear at the end of the film?! Answer – NOW!
Proceed with caution, spoilers ahead. This WILL give away the ending of Frozen 2…ye be warned!
Do you want to FIND a snowman?!
Well TODAY ONLY you can! In celebration of the release of Frozen 2, our favorite frozen friend is making an appearance and dishing out warm hugs in Disney World!
If you’re a Frozen fan, then you know the big day is almost here…FINALLY!
Frozen 2 is coming to theaters on Friday, November 22nd (that’s THIS FRIDAY, y’all!) and Disney World is “rolling out its Arendelle Aqua carpet” by offering some new Frozen festivities!
Many Disney World guests (including us here at the DFB team) get flutters of excitement when they get to meet and get photos taken with their favorite Disney World characters. And if you’re a parent to little ones, you likely get a burst of joy seeing your kiddo meet Mickey Mouse for the very first time.
Disney World’s PhotoPass photographers have become a vital component of these character meet-and-greets, and many vacationers choose to purchase the Memory Maker package for unlimited downloads of the resulting photos. (Disney World Annual Passholders get Memory Maker for free). During our recent visits to a few meet-and-greet locations, we’ve noticed the addition of automated cameras in lieu of PhotoPass photographers, and Disney Fans are NOT HAPPY about it. We’ll explain why in a minute, but first let’s talk about what these actually are and where you can find them.
Remember when we told you that automated PhotoPass cameras are now in use at Mickey and Minnie’s meet-and-greet in Magic Kingdom?
Well, based on what we saw in Epcot today, it looks like those cameras may be on their way to other meet-and-greets around the Disney World theme parks.
