A couple months ago, we gave you a sneak peek the medals for the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, which will take place on January 8-12, 2020.

And today, runDisney has given us a much closer look at the medals for each particular race! Let’s explore them together.
There has been a developing trend in recent years at the Disney theme parks…and it’s all about $$$. Magical upgrades and special separate-ticket events are becoming more and more prevalent.
Many of these offerings fall under Disney’s “Enchanting Extras Collection,” a growing array of unique dining options, dessert parties, and Disney VIP experiences, to name a few.

We totally get it — Disney World is WAY expensive no matter how you shake it, so it’s hard to try and justify shelling out your hard-earned cash for something ELSE on top of the oodles of money you’re already spending. In case you didn’t know, there are a number of runDisney events held throughout the year, such as the Disney Princess Half Marathon and the Wine & Dine Half Marathon! Each one has a different theme and allows for different race opportunities. And now, Star Wars fans, the time has come to register for the runDisney 2020 Star Wars Rival Run Weekend in Disney World!
hosts a few really fun races throughout the year. These races allow guests to push their limits as they race through or around the Disney World parks, often dressed in totally awesome Disney-themed gear!
We always love seeing what themes runDisney will come up with for each race and what the medals for each race will look like!

And now, we have something else to be excited about! Disney has created 2020 runDisney exclusive limited edition MagicBands! There are not designs for EVERY race right now… . But, Disney has released photos for two of the 2020 Marathon Weekends. And they will be releasing another design VERY soon.
Yesterday, runDisney released the 2020 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend themes! So slip off your glass slippers and step into some sneakers: it’s time to run!
