The first is the hopeful, innocent kind. The kind where someone says, “I think I can just wear the cute sandals I already own,” as though Disney World is a quaint little sidewalk situation and not a full-contact endurance event disguised as a vacation.

These are the shoes that show up in packing lists, park bags, airport outfits, and suspiciously smug post-trip reviews from people whose feet are not currently filing a lawsuit.

What shoes do you wear in the parks?
It can be seriously challenging to pack all your park outfits, Minnie ears, Loungefly backpacks, and hotel essentials in your luggage while still saving room for souvenirs on the way home. But you know what’s probably taking up too much space? Shoes! You really only need 3 pairs of shoes for Disney World — allow me to explain.
It’s summer, which means it’s vacation time for a lot of folks. That means that a lot of those folks are traveling to the Orlando Airport to visit Disney World, Universal Orlando (especially Epic Universe), or both.

Well, it’s also HOT and humid in Florida these days, and we’ve noticed an interesting shoe trend at the airport. Not only are folks dressing their feet for comfort, but they’re also dressing their feet for the weather, and sandals are EVERYWHERE. So if you’re looking for a good pair of sandals to travel in, we’ve found some great pairs on Amazon you’ll want to grab.
Yes, we may sound like a broken record, but the shoes you wear to Disney World MATTER. Wearing the wrong shoes could literally make you miserable, and no one wants to be miserable in Disney World, right?

Having the right pair of shoes means the difference between walking joyfully around Disney World or limping in complete misery about the parks. Yep, we’ve been there.
