We say that from experience, because we’re in the parks every day. The number of times have you forgotten something essential and regretted it the whole day? Well, if we’re being honest, it happens at least once a week (or, if you’re like me and travel to the parks once a month, it happens at least twice — once when I arrive in Orlando and realize what I’ve forgotten at home, and then at least once when I’m headed into the parks and realize I forgot something at my accommodation). When we visit Disney World, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the crowds, wait times, prices, and amount of walking you’ll have to do. However, while those variables can change, one obstacle remains a constant: the sun.

Sunxiety, or the fear of the sun or damage from the sun, is absolutely a real thing. Plenty of folks feel obligated to completely cover up when outdoors or avoid the outdoors altogether. We get it. Our reporters visit the Disney World parks every day and with that have come some gnarly burns on occasion and the fear of skin damage.
