After over a year of being closed, Test Track is finally reopening at EPCOT on July 22nd, 2025, and yes, there are some big changes in store. From new rules in the queue to a reshuffling of Lightning Lane access, Disney is rolling out a fresh new version of this thrill ride — and with it, some fresh new systems you’ll want to understand before you show up ready to race. Here’s a quick breakdown of the changes you can expect when Test Track 3.0 hits the pavement.

Test Track is finally reopening on July 22nd, 2025, after being closed for over a year for a total reimagining! Disney has confirmed there will be no virtual queue when the ride reopens, but how will this opening impact other attractions in the park? We’re breaking it down here!

Test Track 3.0 opens to the public on July 22nd, 2025, and although we’ve already had a chance to check it out, we can’t wait to ride it again and again. Ahead of the ride’s reopening, Disney shared details about how the queue will work — and confirmed there will be NO Virtual Queue when the ride reopens.

After over a year of waiting, Test Track is about to reopen! This is the third iteration of the attraction, which reopens on July 22nd, 2025. If you were looking to hop on a little earlier, though, we finally know when previews are taking place!
Okay, so there is something going on in every single park in Disney World. Animal Kingdom is getting a new land. Hollywood Studios is getting a new land. Magic Kingdom is getting an expansion to Frontierland AND a new land. WHEW!
