SO many of our followers have asked us if the ride is smoother than the Aerosmith version. After all, The Muppets are a family-friendly brand, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is one of the most intense roller coasters in Disney Parks. Now, we’re finally answering that question!
In case you missed it, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Hollywood Studios closed in January to be rethemed into a brand-new Muppets roller coaster.

G-Force Records, now run by stage manager Scooter with help from Kermit, Miss Piggy, and more, is working with The Electric Mayhem Band on their biggest show. But there’s one detail that will make us ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets over and over again!
There’s A LOT happening right now at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and I’m worried that not all of it is good.

Hollywood Studios is going to look mighty different in the near future as the park continues to evolve. The Magic of Disney Animation will reimagine Animation Courtyard in 2026, while the MASSIVE Monsters, Inc. Land project is currently underway, transforming Muppets Courtyard into Disney World’s very own Monstropolis (Disney’s first-ever suspended coaster included!). While The Muppets are being kicked out of their, they aren’t truly leaving Hollywood Studios — instead hopping over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. While this change is exciting and welcome, there’s one big caveat that has us incredibly worried that the ride’s reimaging could be a complete letdown.
