How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk at Epic Universe has literally blown us away with its incredible theming, its characters, rides, and shows.
We adopted a baby dragon!
But even with as much as we’ve already covered, we still had one more experience that’s exclusive to this neck of Universal’s Epic Universe. If you’ve fallen in love with the baby dragons roaming around Epic Universe, there’s only one place to head when you’re ready to take one home with you!
We’ve been eagerly awaiting more news about Universal Orlando’s new park coming in 2025 — Epic Universe — and now that we’ve been able to enter Epic Universe (and take allll the pictures), we have so much to share.
WELCOME to EPIC UNIVERSE!
We’ve checked out the park’s preview center, kept track of the updates about the themed lands (including Dark Universe!), and been looking at the construction. We even finally got a chance to go INTO the park, where we got to explore everything for ourselves, and THIS was the standout experience.

The new Universal theme park is set to open in 2025 with five new lands — Celestial Park, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. We’ve been keeping tabs on the construction and noticing when rides have been constructed, and other details show up. Recently, we noticed something black, toothless, and winged pop up that is quite adorable!
