Travel advisories are typically issued when there are warnings about events in countries that travelers need to heed. These new travel advisories do not directly impact Disney vacation destinations, but they could still be worth knowing about for any travel plans you might have in the near future.
If you’re someone who does a lot of travel, particularly outside of the U.S., you’re probably aware of the U.S. State Department’s list of travel advisories that warn you about particular issues that you might face if you visit other countries.

Travel advisories get issued for a variety of reasons, including potential outbreaks, dangerous conditions, crime, and more. Well, a travel advisory for one popular island destination was just issued and updated, and it could change your mind about wanting to travel there.
We’ll admit that we spend a lot of time traveling to Disney Parks, but we also encourage you to get out there and see other parts of the world, too, if you’re able. However, if you’re making plans for international travel, you often need to be aware of locations that could be deemed dangerous.
