Cristy, when you spoke to marketing and they got it done for you, what does that really mean? Did he book your trip with the free dining, or did they just give you a pin code? I already have my trip booked and want it converted to get the free dining. Thanks.

  2. Cristy says:

As far as I know they just have me the free dining. I never was given a PIN unless she just used one and applied it for me. She didn’t mention either way.

  3. David says:

Why is the week after Thanksgiving not in the free dining? I thought it was a slow week. We have reservations the week after Thanksgiving. Can we get the free dining for that week?

  4. Kathie says:

David, Check out the link I posted yesterday at 9:10 P.M. and i believe several people are asking the same question. I would look it up for you but I have no time today. I’m sorry.

    Hi
Are those dates you mentioned above for the free dining a sure thing? If so, how do you know for sure? We booked a trip Oct 20-Nov 2nd, I asked my travel agent and she said they aren’t offering one past September as of now. So just wondering how you found out this info.
    Thanks!!

I am still waiting for the free dining for October! I have the Visa card and have been obsessing since Monday when the predicted sale would begin! Where is it??????

  7. Susan says:

Does anyone know if the dining plan (counter service and/or snack credits) can be used at the Food and Wine Festival?

  8. AJ says:

Susan — Yes — snack credits can be used at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.

  9. Adam Flod says:

Dose anyone know if disney florist offer promo codes or any other discounts?

  10. Cinderdeb R says:

Ok, so Visa cardmembers did not have an advance purchase window, but the dates were correct for the general public for free dining. Thanks for the heads up! This will be a $2,000 savings for our family since my kids are not considered kids anymore. 9 nights worth of meals for free! The only thing I will have to pay is gratuity at dinners! Yahoo!

We booked for Oct27 – Nov 2 at Saratoga Springs, but there’s no free dining plan attached to my reservation. Is there something I need to do? Does it not count for DVC members?

  12. Cinderdeb R says:

Mathew M-DVC members, as far as I know, are not eligible for free dining because you are not buying a room and ticket package at full price for 6nights 7 days. Those are the requirements for free dining. It doesn’t hurt to call disney direct to ask, but I am sure you can’t get it. I guess just feel lucky that you can visit often with your DVC!

Called the uk Disney travel company. They said this was just available for us bookings. Do u know if this is correct?

  14. Kathryn Ellsworth says:

I just attempted to get the free Disney dining plan and I was informed that it is not going on now. Ended in September. I referenced this blog and they didn’t support because it wasn’t the office Disney website. Is this false information on your blog about 2013 dates being extended to November 2?

  15. AJ says:

Kathryn — Dates were opened in October, November, and December noted here: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/08/01/news-disney-world-free-dining-now-available-for-october-november-december-2013-dates/. It could be the case that your dates were sold out.

I have a question. If we were to book a 5 night stay with 4 days of park tickets, how many days do we get the free dining for….of course, assuming there is free dining this year.being that we would actually be there for 6 days, but only have tickets for 4 I was just curious. Thanks!

  17. Cinderdeb R says:

    Hi Michaelyn,
You will receive a free dining (hopefully they will have it) for each night of your hotel stay. The minimum requirement of park days is 2. If you ever compared prices on tickets, each day you stay, your ticket prices drop tremendously after the first few days. Good Luck!
