Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is a global celebration of the Season!
From November 19 – December 30, 2017 guests can enjoy enhanced offerings around World Showcase and experience holiday traditions from various cultures as expressed through decorations, stories, music, cuisine, and additional special events.
For many years, Epcot’s celebration of the season was known as Holidays Around the World. It was an annual Epcot tradition for years, and the offerings were expanded in 2016 with the addition of Holiday Kitchens. This change to a full-on Festival feel has now been updated to the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays for 2017!
Holiday celebrations the world over share something in common: a major aspect of the season is FOOD. The food booths operate much like the Marketplace Booths for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
One noticeable difference, however, is that where the Food and Wine Festival focuses on small plates and snacking-sizes so guests can sample lots of everything, many of the Holiday Kitchens also share larger portions — nearly full entree-sized, in many cases, such as the Slow-Roasted Turkey at the American Holiday Table!
In 2017, the offerings will greatly expand with EVEN MORE Holiday Kitchens to enjoy!

Walt Disney World’s Epcot has always been a beloved destination for guests visiting during the Holiday Season. The Candlelight Processional is an endearing, traditional way to celebrate the Christmas Story.
A celebrity narrator shares the Christmas story accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir (composed of a Disney Cast Member choir along with an ever-changing group of guest choirs from around the country). Three performances take place each night at 5:00, 6:45, and 8:15 pm beginning November 24, 2017.
Candlelight Processional Dining Packages allow guests to pair breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a participating Epcot or Resort area restaurant and enjoy reserved seating for the popular production.
Visit our Candlelight Processional Page to see the list of this year’s celebrity narrators along with restaurants and prices for the Dining Packages.
The Festival of the Holidays offers guests a glimpse into how different cultures celebrate the holidays that take place during the Winter months.
Stop by each and every World Showcase Pavilion to hear Holiday Storytellers share the traditions that are integral parts of the season in the country they represent.
