Liberty Tree Tavern

Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Tree Tavern is, I must admit, one of my favorite restaurants in Disney World. Themed after a late 18th century home, the restaurant is divided into different rooms decorated to reflect famous names from the United States’ Revolutionary period, including Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson.
While this restaurant used to feature Disney characters dressed in period garb, as of 2009 the characters have been removed. The food is still wonderful, however, with lunch focused on a la carte entrees and dinner presented as a family-style meal featuring roasted turkey, pork loin, carved beef, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and stuffing.
