Nice hidden Mickey. ; )
You’re whetting my appetite for the Fest. Have you heard anything else about the formerly free tastings? Aren’t ressies supposed to open up this week? Can you tell I’m anxious?
Kelly says
That definitely doesn’t look anything like what the item was last year!

Looks yummy! I haven’t tried it yet but this year it’s definitely on my list. LOL at the hidden Mickey also 🙂 First thing I noticed.

I was so excited for the chocolate lava cake until I saw the pic of it. That’s a tiny portion! I need more than a bite size piece of cake ;p

That Fishermans Pie was my FAVORITE ITEM from last years festival! We ate like 5 of them! I even bought the Mickey Shaped Casserole dish so I can attempt to make it at home.
I cannot even begin to gush how wonderful this fishermans pie was…full of scallops, full of flavor, topped with the most wonderful fluffy mashed potatos….it was heaven. And very filling too!
Great….now I have to wipe the drool off of my keyboard….

Dana, there’s a Mickey-shaped casserole dish?
I didn’t have the pleasure of having this at the F&WF, but the recipe sounded so great that I made it for New Year’s. It was A+ Amazing! I can only imagine how good it is at Disney. Must.go.to.F&WF.again!
Dana says
Yeah–actually there’s two Mickey Casserole dishes–a large and a small. They were reasonably priced (for Disney)—the large was $18 I think (plus my AP discount…) so I bought the large one. Go large or go home!
Still haven’t tried the recipe though—was it hard to do? It looks daunting. I figured I’d try it on a cool fall night.
