When we were at Hollywood Studios we saw something you don’t see very often — a clear view from the entrance of the park to the Chinese Theater.
Usually, during the day, the stage for the show A Galaxy Far Far Away is sitting in front of the theater.
We caught the show the last time we were in Hollywood Studios. But fans of the show don’t despair! Just because the stage is gone doesn’t mean the show has been cancelled.
The stage is undergoing refurbishment for a few weeks, and during that time the show is on hiatus. But, the March of the first order is still going on!
With the stage gone you can also see there is some work going on in the courtyard of the Chinese Theater. This is to get ready for the new ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, replacing the Great Movie Ride.
We’ll keep you posted on when A Galaxy Far Far Away returns as well as the construction progress on Star Wars Land Galaxy’s Edge.
Which are you looking forward to most — Galaxy’s Edge or the new Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway?

I love the look without the stage blocking the beautiful front of the theatre. I wish they would leave it like this. I wasn’t impressed with the stage show at all and it was really weak and not much of a show after all the waiting I did to hold my spot in the front for a great view.
The stage is now portable. I was there last week and watched them “roll” it away in the late afternoon
