There were a few announcements from Disney today about new menus, additions, and more at popular locations in both Disneyland and Disney World. We’ve already tried some of these items, and the rest are on our to-try list, so stay tuned for reviews and updates! We’ll start out in Disneyland with the brand new menu we reviewed earlier for you.
Disneyland’s Hungry Bear has a brand new menu that includes this Cherry Coca-Cola Funnel Cake plus new sandwiches and burgers.
In Disney World, at Epcot’s Coral Reef Restaurant, you’ll now find a whole stuffed Maine lobster that comes with crispy baby potatoes, asparagus, béarnaise sauce, lemon, and butter. Read our latest review of Coral Reef Restaurant and see if we thought it could rise to the surface or not.
Animal Kingdom’s Harambe Market has a new Chicken Gyro plus three new bowls to choose from; a Ribs Bowl, Chicken Bowl, or Roasted Vegetable Bowl. All the bowls are served with cilantro rice and green salad base and come with green salsa and pico de gallo.
The Restaurantosaurus Lounge, located within Animal Kingdom’s Dinoland U.S.A.’s Restaurantosaurus, is serving up some cleverly-named specialty non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks as well as apps that include Buffalo Chicken Dip.
And one more for Animal Kingdom! Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery has added some breakfast options to their menu. Select from a Cheese and Guava Danish, Pistachio Honey Croissant, Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit, or a Spinach and Feta Quiche to power you up for your day of adventure in the park!
Port Orleans is a pair of resorts that have offered some of our must-haves (remember Boozy Beignets) and are both offering some new items on menus at their eateries. At Port Orleans French Quarter’s Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory they are now serving the Beignet Burger! A burger with beignets as it’s bun!

Down the Sassagoula River at Port Orleans Riverside you’ll find a new dish at Boatwrights Dining Hall that may make you think you’re at Wilderness Lodge’s Whispering Canyon Cafe. That’s right, they are now offering an all-you-care-to-enjoy Chef’s Platter with ribs, Nashville hot chicken, barbecued beef brisket, smoked sausage, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, street corn, and green beans. Sign us up! Stay tuned for our upcoming review of this new dish.
Lastly, in addition to a recent renovation, the Polynesian Village Resort’s Tambu Lounge has a brand new menu. New options include Conch Ceviche served in a coconut, Shrimp Cocktail with fresh shrimp marinated in Florida citrus juices, Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls served with pickled vegetables, Beef Carpaccio Tataki in a spicy black pepper marinade topped with chili oil, and the Tambu Mixed Grill Kebab with chicken, steak, and shrimp served grilled with savory peanut sauce. Stay tuned for our upcoming review of this new menu.
