Over at Epcot, Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion has definitely not been slacking when it comes to their holiday cupcake game. Last week, we reviewed the Snowman Peanut Butter & Jelly Cupcake and we also spotted the Christmas Gift Cupcake as well! Now, we have another exciting sweet treat to tell you about!
It’s a Holiday Minnie Cupcake! Just like the Flower Pot PB&J Cupcake got an update for Santa season, this little cutie did, too!
Look familiar? Yes, the Rose Gold Cupcake from Sunshine Seasons has undergone a holiday makeover! This is what it usually looks like:
But for the month of December? Instead of being decorated in rose gold vanilla buttercream, the Minnie Cupcake’s icing is now a bright, holiday red hue. *cue the snowfall*
With the exception of the rose gold icing and crunchy pearls being replaced with red icing and snowflake sprinkles, this is the same cupcake you know and love. The cake is chocolate hazelnut and vanilla swirl, and the bow and ears are still fondant.
You can find the Holiday Minnie Cupcake in the bakery case at Sunshine Seasons for $5.49 or one Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
But wait, there’s more! You know the classic Mickey Oreo Cheesecake? It’s ready for Christmas, too – Santa outfit and all! This one is $4.29 or one Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
While you’re at Epcot, be sure to make the most of the International Festival of the Holidays! It has everything you need to make the holiday season merry and bright, including live performances and holiday kitchens.

I tried the “Red” – Minnie’s Rose Gold cupcake ?. However, I did not find as enjoyable as the regular one ( which I get each visit) . I found it had too much icing Andy not as buttery sweet, it was more sugary sweet. Very festive looking though!

I guess we were there on a bad day for the Rose Gold cupcake. I keep reading these rave reviews, but we thought it was just awful! The cake was delicious, but the buttercream was nothing but sweet shortening. There was no flavor, not even “butter” to the buttercream. SO disappointing. I hope they’ve upped their game!

I agree with Elizabeth to some extent. I liked the Rose Gold Cupcake, but the cake itself is basically flavorless. The buttercream was really good. However, I prefer the Belle’s dress cupcake, as I think it tastes better. But it’s just so heavy that the both times I’ve had it, Ive ended up feeling sick from being overstuffed. The red from the Christmas one, all I’m picturing is how you can taste the red food coloring which is bitter.
