The grain merchant Kat Saka runs a stall in the marketplace of Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. The local specialty is the Outpost Mix, which guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can enjoy here at Kat Saka’s Kettle!
The bustling marketplace is filled with shops and other places to grab a bite or sip like Ronto Roasters and the Milk Stand. Within the busy scene, you’ll be able to identify Kat Saka’s Kettle by the bins filled with grains from across the galaxy on either side of the stall.
Another identifying feature is all the color at the Kettle! In this weathered village of earth and grey tones, those colorful grains bring unexpected pops of various hues to let you know you’re in the right place.
You’ll also spy bags upon bags of the merchant’s ingredients of grains and spices sourced throughout the galaxy.
Outpost Mix is a popcorn snack made with the very grain and spices which Kat Saka sourced herself.
The mix features both sweet and savory flavored popcorn. The sweet purple popcorn has a definite “fruity” quality to it although that’s balanced out by the savory red chili flavor.
Kat Saka’s Kettle is also where you can find the exclusively themed Coca-Cola® bottled beverages ($4.99) and Dasani® Bottled Water ($3.99).
The thermal detonator Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and Sprite bottles may be purchased with a limit of three per guest per transaction (and come in at 13.5 ounces of beverage). And don’t forget to pick up a mouse droid popcorn bucket, programmed to carry your galactic snack.
We’ll be seeing you right back here from Kat Saka’s Kettle again soon!

Any word on the souvenir popcorn bucket for Galaxy’s Edge? I thought you mentioned earlier it would be at Kat Sakas.
Lisa R says
Is the popcorn droid bucket really $19.99 as shown on the sign? Is it refillable?
DFB Sarah says
Mike, we’re expecting to see one at Kat Saka’s, but we haven’t spotted it yet. I’ll ask AJ to check today!

Why yes, I do need a mouse droid to hold my popcorn. Why yes, I am going to go broke in Florida later this year.

Awesome info! Fyi Kat Saka is female though. You say “himself.” 🙂
