According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, the city of Anaheim has approved a variety of permits for the expansion!
The grain merchant Kat Saka runs a stall in the marketplace of Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. The local specialty is the Outpost Mix, which guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can enjoy here at Kat Saka’s Kettle!
The bustling marketplace is filled with shops and other places to grab a bite or sip like Ronto Roasters and the Milk Stand. Within the busy scene, you’ll be able to identify Kat Saka’s Kettle by the bins filled with grains from across the galaxy on either side of the stall. [Read more…]
When Star Wars: Galaxys’ Edge opens in Disneyland in just a few days (May 31st!!), Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will provide counter service dining in a fast-casual setting for guests visiting Black Spire Outpost.
While the full menu for Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo has been available for some time now, guests who are traveling to Batuu who have (or are traveling with someone who has) food allergies will be interested to know that Allergy-Friendly menu items are now designated on the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo menu posted on the Disneyland website. For instance, even though the prices for Oga’s Cantina have not been officially revealed on the Disneyland website (though you can see the drink listings in full), we have been able to learn the prices for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including those with specialty souvenir glasses) which will be available at the Cantina.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on May 31, 2019 in Disneyland Resort. A special dedication ceremony will take place on May 29th and there is a way you can attend, no matter where you are in the galaxy!
The required, no-cost reservations to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in its opening weeks in Disneyland (from May 31 – June 23) are completely booked for the general public. So, if you’re hoping to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but you don’t have a reservation during the window, you’ll have to wait until reservations are no longer needed starting June 24th. (You can find out how the virtual queue will work for gaining access to the land starting that day here.)
But let’s say you don’t want to miss out entirely on the opening day fun, and perhaps you’d like a memento to say “I Was There” in Disneyland on opening day of Galaxy’s Edge…. well, as it turns out, Disney has announced that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day dated merchandise, including Annual Passholder items will be available — only while supplies last — outside of Galaxy’s Edge!
