Sometimes your favorite shows only get one season, or the story ends earlier than expected if the streaming service decides to cancel the show before the story has naturally come to a close.

Fortunately, that’s not the case with Ahsoka, a popular show in the Star Wars universe on Disney+. We’re at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this weekend, and we finally got more information on the second season of this show!
If you’re a Star Wars fan, then you know how important the shows are. From The Mandalorian to Ahsoka, some of the shows set in a galaxy far, far away have become just as iconic as Luke, Leia, and Han themselves!

Disneyland just got a massive upgrade! In case you missed it, the West Coast Galaxy’s Edge is shaking up its timeline to include characters and music from the original trilogy!

This comes with a lot of fun changes, but we’re most excited for the characters. We met so many never-before-seen characters from A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and the rest of the Star Wars universe today!
Disneyland’s Star Wars area is getting a massive upgrade! Galaxy’s Edge is a Star Wars-themed land on both the East and West Coasts, and they’ve been very similar. You’ll explore Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu that the First Order has overtaken. You can meet Kylo Ren and his Stormtroopers, ride the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca, and help Finn, Rey, and the Rebel Alliance take down the First Order. Both lands have been set during the sequel trilogy – until now!
Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge
While Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World will stay the same, the West Coast’s Disneyland area will be completely rethemed to be set during the original trilogy. This means new characters from “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back,” and “Return of the Jedi” will be roaming around the park. But how will these changes impact the characters currently in Galaxy’s Edge?

From the rose gold phase to the Minnie ears craze to the time when people were willing to wear Spirit Jerseys even in the summer and fans were busting down the doors of gift shops to get their hands on the latest Starbucks tumblers, it feels like I’ve seen it all. But I know that trends will continue to come and go, and I’m okay with that. Except for my favorite trend — Disney killed it and I’m still bitter.

Star Wars Celebration Japan has kicked off, and Star Wars fans from around the world are celebrating their love for a galaxy far, far away. But Star Wars Celebration is MORE than just a celebration — it’s also where Disney and Lucasfilm drop some of their biggest announcements about current and upcoming Star Wars projects. And well, let’s just say, Disney wasted NO TIME making those big announcements — so we’re going to sum them all up for you here.
If you’re heading to Japan for the 2025 Star Wars Celebration, which happens on April 18th-20th, we’re guessing there’s a good chance you might also have plans to visit Tokyo Disney Resort.

Well, if that’s the case, you’ll be able to enjoy a SPECIAL version of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, which will feature characters from some of the NEWEST Star Wars shows, like Ahsoka, Andor, and the Mandalorian and Grogu. You’ll be able to enjoy these new scenes on Star Tours from April 8th through June 30th.
At the 2023 Destination D23 event at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Disney World, we learned that Star Tours, the ride in Hollywood Studios and Disneyland, would be receiving some new updates.

Over the years, this simulator ride and the show at its premise have undergone several changes, including new characters and new missions. Well, the day has finally come.
