This weekend is a HUGE one for Disney: Destination D23 is currently underway.
So why is this event so important? Well, the event usually brings a lot of big announcements about Disney movies, Disney parks, and future plans for just about EVERYTHING. Well, we just got our first big update, and it’s about one of Disney’s Star Wars rides in Disney Parks.
During Star Wars Celebration Europe in April 2023, Disney announced that Disney Parks’ Star Tours attraction would be getting a HUGE upgrade. Well, today, we got more details about that upgrade, and we think a lot of you Star Wars fans are going to LOVE this.
This ride has been updated over the years as new Star Wars movies have come out, but we’re now getting some new scenes that will feature a Star Wars TV show. Yes, Ahsoka will be a part of Star Tours at Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
So now that we’ve got you pumped up, you’ll be able to ride this new version of Star Tours VERY soon. Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, announced that the new scenes will be added to the ride in Spring 2024.Â
We’ll be covering ALL the big announcements from Destination D23, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Wish they would do more with the original movies. Most of the scenes are from the second set of movies.
