Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Holywood Studios at Disney World boasts a ton of E-ticket rides that usually have incredibly long wait times. Due to an upcoming change, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, a ride that usually has a moderate to low wait, could wind up joining that list very soon.
Phew, wait times are NOT budging in Disney World right now.

We spend SO much time in lines at the Disney parks, and sometimes it just does not feel like we get a reprieve from the long wait times. This week is one of those weeks! The lines may feel endless at times, but the rides can be SO worth it. There are even some fun things you can do with your family in line — even if you’re not in an interactive queue. For example, you could play a classic game of “I Spy”, you could play “Heads Up” (an app you can get on your phone), or even just take in the scenery and enjoy the moment. Last week was, well, quite a week in the parks. In fact, it was one of the busiest weeks in all of 2024 so far! Between President’s Day Weekend and the Disney Princess Half Marathon, many people took time to visit the parks…but things are changing. We’re taking a look at the average wait times in Disney World from the past week and don’t worry — things are looking up!
You might think of February as a slow time in Disney World. Depending on the week in February, this could be right or wrong!

February has a holiday weekend that you may have forgotten about — President’s Day — when many kids are off school. On top of that, Disney World also hosts the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend which runs from February 22nd to 26th, 2024, and brings massive crowds of runners to the parks. So what does that mean for the wait times at your favorite rides? Well, buckle up because it’s NOT pretty… .

The My Disney Experience app can tell you when rides are closed and what the wait time trends look like for the day at every ride. Although it’s important to look at the times when you’re in the park, it’s also good to study wait time trends ahead of time! Disney World requires a LOT of walking!
You pay SO much money to get into the parks, so you want to make the most of your time right? That’s why we’re always tracking the changes in wait time patterns and boy, do we have an update for you today. Wait times have been decreasing at a steady pace across the board, but times increased at EVERY attraction in one Disney World park this week. You may think it’s Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom…but this actually happened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
In case you missed it, Country Bear Jamboree is now closed in Magic Kingdom. But don’t worry — it’s coming back!
Those Country Bears are POPULAR!
It won’t look the same as the opening day Disney World attraction with changes to the songs, costumes, characters, and more, but it will return this summer in its new form. We were in Magic Kingdom on the last day of operation witnessing lengthy lines for the show just to see the final run get canceled 😢. However, we noticed something in the wait times that kinda shocked us!

Sure, the holiday season may be over, but can you really count on wait times to go down in the parks come January? Planning a Disney World trip certainly isn’t easy, and when you’ve got long lines and crowds to worry about, things can get overwhelming pretty quickly. But, that’s where we come in!
Yes, you probably enjoy shopping and eating around Disney World, but let’s face it — most people are there for the rides!
EPCOT
We can’t blame you because Disney World is full of both classic and innovative attractions. While many think of Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom as the parks with the longest wait times, EPCOT has a couple of rides that pull big crowds of their own. Those two attractions are Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After, and one just BEAT the other for the highest wait time in the park!
Many people may think the most popular ride in Disney World is over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios…but they’d be mistaken!
Animal Kingdom
It makes sense — Hollywood Studios is full of popular rides with very long wait times. However, the culprit for the longest wait time is hiding over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s Flight of Passage in Pandora — The World of Avatar, but now we’ve got a good update to share.
