Magic Kingdom Is Off to a ROCKY START This Morning

We love a day in Disney World when everything goes perfectly. When we step inside the gate ready to ride some rides and everything is up and running and working properly — that is the perfect Disney morning.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen. We’ve noticed that not all the rides are morning people either. So while it can us a while to wake up and get ready, apparently some of the rides feel the same way. A few rides in Magic Kingdom clearly did not get their coffee on the morning of March 20th because several of them were temporarily closed right when we got there!

Phew, wait times are NOT budging in Disney World right now.

We spend SO much time in lines at the Disney parks, and sometimes it just does not feel like we get a reprieve from the long wait times. This week is one of those weeks! The lines may feel endless at times, but the rides can be SO worth it. There are even some fun things you can do with your family in line — even if you’re not in an interactive queue. For example, you could play a classic game of “I Spy”, you could play “Heads Up” (an app you can get on your phone), or even just take in the scenery and enjoy the moment. In case you missed it, Country Bear Jamboree is now closed in Magic Kingdom. But don’t worry — it’s coming back!

Those Country Bears are POPULAR!

It won’t look the same as the opening day Disney World attraction with changes to the songs, costumes, characters, and more, but it will return this summer in its new form. We were in Magic Kingdom on the last day of operation witnessing lengthy lines for the show just to see the final run get canceled 😢.
