Hey, pals! We’re back with another construction update! Yesterday, we showed you some Disney Skyliner construction updates.
But, now it’s time to check out the construction progress on Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Disney’s Riviera Resort is the newest Disney Vacation Club Resort. It is slated to open this winter on December 16th, which is just a few days after the Rise of the Resistance attraction is set to open at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The last time we were here, we noticed some work at the pool, on the exterior, and at the Skyliner Station. And while we still saw ongoing work in these areas during this visit, progress was evident! So, let’s take a look at that progress together!
When we were visiting, they were testing the exterior lights near the pool. The construction in the area was still pretty heavy. As you can see, a massive amount of work still needs to be done in terms of landscaping.
The rocks have been painted a reddish-brown color on the pool’s slide. We’re really excited to see how this area turns out once it’s completed.
Now, a ton of progress has been made on the exterior of the building. We noticed that red awnings had been added to some of the windows.
We also spotted a new sign. This sign features two R’s to symbolize the name Riviera Resort.
The letters are a lovely gold color and they even light up at night!
We also took a peek at the construction taking place on Riviera Resort’s Skyliner Station. You can view that update here!
