Dia De Los Muertos Decor at Rancho Del Zocalo
We’ve been sharing with you all the spooky Halloween treats to materialize in Disneyland throughout the day, including the wicked Maleficent Churro, the Blood Orange Slush, and SO MUCH MORE! Let’s check out some of the Dia de los Muertos inspired treats at Disneyland this Halloween season!
Head to Frontierland’s Rancho del Zocalo to find all the festive goodies.

Halloween Snacks at Rancho del Zocalo
First up, we HAD to try the Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich. Just look at all the pretty colors going on!

Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich
This hefty treat is made with a pink and blue concha type Mexican sweet bread. It is stuffed with dulce de leche ice cream, cajeta (which is a goat milk-based caramel), and churro streusel. A big ol’ pile of that famous Disneyland whipped cream and a colorful white chocolate sugar skull round out the decorations. You can get one for $7.99.

Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich
Our bread was super crunchy with all the crusted sugar, and all the caramel flavors in the cajeta and dulce de leche ice cream really came through. The churro streusel had a nice crunch and added a bit of cinnamon flavor, but we would have liked a LOT more! If you want more conchas in your life, you can still find these adorable concha ears around Disneyland as well!
The rest of these treats were part of last year’s Halloween offerings! The Frozen Abuelita Horchata is layered frozen hot chocolate and frozen horchata topped with spiced whipped cream. It costs $5.99.

Frozen Horchata
Ours was less layered and more swirled, but the flavors were still all there! The chocolate flavor mixed really well with the cinnamony horchata. We didn’t pick up much spice flavoring in the whipped cream itself, but it had a light dusting of cinnamon on top.
The Orange Sugar Skull Pot de Crème shared the same colorful skull as the Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich!

Orange Sugar Skull Pot de Creme
This treat was made with layers of thick creamy chocolate pudding and crumbled chocolate cake. The orange sugar skull is made of white chocolate and, while cute, doesn’t bring much flavor to the party! This is a simple treat most chocolate fans will love. It costs $5.99.
The final Halloween offering at this spot we first saw a few weeks back for the Haunted Mansion’s 50th Birthday.

The Long-Forgotten Duelist Tacos
The Long-Forgotten Duelist Tacos are a nod to our favorite pistol-wielding spooks in the Haunted Mansion! This comes with two fry bread tacos — one fajita beef and one butter chicken. They’re served with pickled veggies and Mexican rice. It will run you $13.49.

Duelist Tacos
Ours weren’t quite as pretty as the picture on the sign, but they were still worth the $$$! Heads up, cilantro haters — these come with a good bit on top, so be sure to let them know when ordering if you’d prefer them without it.

Duelist Taco
Each taco had a tangy, creamy sauce that didn’t bring much heat, and the pickled veggies were crunchy and really brightened the tacos up. We had a hard time picking which of the 2 we liked best!!
Rancho del Zocalo is a great spot for some more unique Halloween offerings at the park. We loved seeing concha bread featured this year! If you want even more Dia de los Muertos fun, you can head over to Disney California Adventure to the Plaza de la Familia to celebrate all things Coco!
