It’s true! Animal Kingdom gets wilder every time we’re there!
We were enjoying a leisurely stroll up to the park entrance when we came face to face with something we weren’t exactly prepared to see…at least outside of one of the theme park’s exhibits!
We spotted THIS GUY…and he gave us a little start to be sure!
EEP! Yep, it’s always good to be reminded that central Florida is a HAVEN for reptiles, including gators and these little beauties. We’re guessing he’s a black racer snake — very common to the area and completely harmless (unless you’re a snake or a tree frog, that is).
We spotted him here on the walkway to the Animal Kingdom.
And this is an excellent time to remind you that even though you may be in the “Disney Bubble,” you’re still in a real place and in the real world!
Due to its swampland status, Disney World has plenty of snakes, gators, and other wildlife that you should be aware of. Keep an eye on your kiddos — even in the theme parks — and stay aware.
