Hey friends! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
Here’s where we’ll tell you about all the latest happenings at “The Happiest Place on Earth” including construction, food, and merchandise updates!
There’s been A LOT going on at the Magic Kingdom this week now that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has hit its groove AND yesterday was Mickey Mouse’s 91st Birthday — wow! He looks great for his age! But anywho, there’s much to discuss, so let’s get started!
Construction Update at Magic Kingdom
Entrance
A new entryway for guests arriving by ferryboat is now open! It’s a more direct pathway that leads from the dock directly to the Magic Kingdom’s main gates!
This new set-up should help alleviate some of the bottlenecking that’s been happening at the Magic Kingdom’s entrance now that ferryboat passengers won’t be merging with crowds getting off of resort buses!
TRON Construction
Meanwhile, construction with the new TRON Lightcyle Run is staying on track! Here’s a shot of its progress so far!
It hasn’t changed all that much since the new exterior track sections were installed last week, but it’s definitely coming along!

Food Update at Magic Kingdom
Multiple Locations
Remember how we mentioned it was Mickey’s birthday yesterday? Well, there were plenty of Mickey Souvenir Sippers on hand to celebrate with at Storybook Treats and Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies!
Find out more about the Mickey Souvenir Sipper here!
Big Top Treats
At Big Top Treats, we noticed they had a little sign out saying they would be making dark chocolate pineapple spears and strawberries by request!
While the dark chocolate options for these treats come and go out from the case, a Cast Member told us since they take a little longer to make they’re making them available by request going forward. Good to know!
Storybook Treats
And at Storybook Treats, we cooked up a hack for one of our favorite seasonal snacks, the Gingerbread Sundae! We added a Mickey Gingerbread Cookie (which you can grab from Big Top Treats for $3.99) and voila! A star is BORN!

Merchandise Update at Magic Kingdom
The Emporium
Over on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey’s Christmas Carol window displays are up now up at The Emporium!
Check out Disney’s re-telling of the classic Charles Dickens novella with Scrooge McDuck starring as Ebenezer Scrooge — along with a few other familiar characters portraying the other roles! Check out Goofy as ghost of Marley!
We look forward to this returning display each year and it’s one of our favorite Disney World traditions — right up there with the Gingerbread display crawl! If that last bit didn’t make sense, check out our list of every Gingerbread display at Disney World right here!
How cute is Scrooge in his little nightgown looking all terrified! Don’t worry — there’s a happy ending!
See! He’s a changed man! The Spirits did their job! Here he is joining Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the rest of the clan on Christmas Day!
Inside The Emporium, we spotted some new bridal-themed Alex and Ani Bracelets!
Check out this cute Bride Tribe Alex and Ani Bracelet for $44.99. We love how that it’s rose gold and the charms are SO ADORABLE!
There was also this True Love Alex and Ani Bracelet for $44.99…
…and this Alex and Ani Ring Love Bracelet for $49.99 if you’re going for more of a platinum-look!
And how charming is this new Cinderella Castle Alex and Ani Bracelet for $44.99? We’re singing, “So This is Love” after seeing this one! It’s a STUNNER!

But we weren’t done singing yet! Get ready to belt out “Bella Notte” when you see the new Lady and the Tramp Phone Case for $34.99! The phone cover features the lovely Lady on one side slurping a spaghetti noodle…
…with Tramp on the back!
And if that wasn’t enough cuteness for you, when you open the cover, inside you’ll find Chef Tony on the accordion serenading the lovely couple! Plus — there are slots to put your i.d., credit cards, etc! Adorable AND handy? This is one seriously FETCH phone case!

We also spotted these super cute Reversible Mickey Plush! Each one costs $29.99 and you have the option of either Mickey Mouse who changes colors from his traditional red, black and yellow…
…to a cool combo of purple, blue, and gold!
While the Reversible Minnie Plush morphs from her classic color combination…
…to this cute purple, red, and white version! And she’s winkin’ at us! So adorable!
That’s it for this edition of What’s New at Magic Kingdom — until next time! We’ll be back with more construction, food, and merchandise updates soon!
