Eating our way around the holidays in Epcot has us happily-stuffed!
Yup, so far the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays has given us some awesome eats and some SUPER CUTE festival merch! You can check out EVERYTHING we’ve spotted at this year’s fest today, but right now we’ve gotta talk about the Feast of the Three Kings Booth located over by the World Showcase!
The Feast of the Three Kings Booth is themed to celebrate the story of the Magi through Caribbean cuisine and culture!
Sooooo, let’s check out that menu…
Food
Pastelón
First up, Feast of the Three Kings is servin’ up Pastelón — a hearty portion of sofrito-marinated beef with sweet plantains and olives –yum! Plus, this one is gluten-free for those on special diets! This one was definitely our fave item at the booth last year and you can try it out this year for $5!
Queso Fresco-stuffed Arepa
There’s also this Queso Fresco-stuffed Arepa for $6 — another returning item from last year, complete with shrimp, crushed avocado aji, and tomato sauce! This is another delicious choice, especially for those who love shrimp.
Arepas
For a similar (but more kiddo-approved version) check out the Queso Fresco-stuffed Arepa for $4.50! It’s the same basic Arepas as the one above, but without “distractions” — just good ol’ melty cheese! Yes, please. 🙂
Tres Leches Rice Pudding
And another returning hit, Tres Leches and Rice Pudding is back on the menu board at Feast of the Three Kings. The pumpkin seed topping lends some textural contrast to the creamy rice pudding. Chow down on this tasty dessert for $4.25!
Chocolate Crinkle Cookie
And fear not, chocolate-lovers! There’s a tasty holiday Chocolate Crinkle Cookie here too for $2.50. We really enjoyed this new addition to this year’s Cookie Stroll — a Christmas tradition we here at DFB observe EVERY holiday season!
As you can see where it gets its moniker from, the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie is super moist and chocolatey! Just look at all the fudgy-goodness!
Drinks
Coquito
Not sure about you, but we need something a little sweet to wash all those rich Carribean flavors down with! We’ll start off with the Feast of the Three Kings’ Coquito! This is a non-alcoholic tropical eggnog drink and we have to say, we think it’s delicious! Sip one yourself for $4.25!Â
Aaaaand if that Coquito sounded good but you’re looking for a little more kick, then look no further than the spiked version! This is the same tropical eggnog but with a Bacardi Gold Dark Rum floater! Bring on the good times with the Boozy Coquito for $10!
And for a fruity, lighter option, try out the M.I.A. Beer Company Tres Reyes Mango Golden for $4.50!Â
Overall
We love the unique island-flair of The Feast of the Three Kings’ menu. They’re some of the most tropical flavors you’ll find at this year’s Festival of the Holidays! If you’re more into experimenting with non-traditional seasonal eats, be sure to swing by this booth of Caribbean-style holiday delights! And even if you’re not an adventurous eater, still stop by for their KILLER Chocolate Crinkle Cookie! You’d be sorry to miss this one!
