Disney World isn’t just a bunch of resorts and thrill rides. If you’ve ever visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you’ve probably made friends with some of their furry and feather inhabitants!
Of course, we’re talkin’ about the animals that roam the savannahs as well as the birds, fish, and reptiles! But with the parks being temporarily closed right now and all the people being gone, you might be wondering who’s looking after these guys?
Don’t worry, ALL of Disney World’s animals are still being cared for by Disney’s Animal Care, a team of well-trained and hard-working experts. It’s pretty much business for usual for these Cast Members are still regularly feeding, cleaning, and observing our four-legged (and two-legged, and NO-legged) buddies!
The dedicated staff is complying with state and federal guidelines while they work behind the scenes to ensure the animals are still receiving the very best care. Disney’s Animal Care team has also shared they’ll be making a heartwarming announcement soon and that they’ll be finding ways for us to stay connected with our favorite animals while we’re apart.
We’ll be sure to pass all of their stories along to you, so stay tuned!

So glad to hear this, it would be awesome if Disney Plus could do some sort of live stream for Animals in Parks right now like watching a zoo live 🙂 but better because its AK

I totally agree with Debra and was thinking the exact same thing. That would be amazing if they could livestream animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge or at Animal Kingdom. I would be watching all day long. 🥰
