While construction appears to have temporarily stopped at Disney World, we spy something new happening over at Epcot!
Thanks to a recent update made to the My Disney Experience app, we’ve got a whole new perspective of the new World Showcase expansion happening around Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
We gotta confess — we were catching the Skyliner at the International Gateway station before the parks closed so we could catch a birds-eye view of some of the construction that was happening in the back of the France pavilion.
But now that Disney World has updated its handy-dandy app, we can do some snooping right from our couches! Although none of the new buildings are labeled quite yet (other than the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along that opened in January) from our virtual eye in the sky we can see the layout of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’s new courtyard!
As you can see from the map, you’ll access the ride’s new queue area by walking along the waterway that connects the World Showcase Lagoon and Crescent Lake. The steely blue rooftops are Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’s show buildings as well as Le Creperie de Paris, a new dining location, which will feature both table-service and quick-service options!
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this area will also provide guests with additional restrooms and drinking fountains or bottle fillers, but haven’t received any official confirmation from Disney yet!
While we won’t be riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure until this summer, we are super excited for the parks to reopen so we can say Bonjour! to the Remy topiary again! If you haven’t had a chance to meet him yet, click here to see Epcot’s 2020 Flower and Garden Festival’s newest edition!
